I had no problem getting an appointment today on the phone and the wait time was very short - I was the next person in-line. I have had difficulty in the past getting through to the surgery but has been better the last few time I’ve needed to call. I would suggest that information recorded, which is played while you are waiting, should be updated regularly as a message regarding the practice closing early was out of date

If the receptionist knew that the doctor was run late then inform me when booking in. I was not sure if I’d been missed out

I feel very lucky to have such a fantastic doctors surgery. I always manage to book an appointment to see my doctor when needed and have always found the receptionist helpful and polite.

A while ago trying to contact the doctors surgery was a bit of a nightmare, but I believe that was due to the telephone system, however I didn't have any problems recently.

Try and make appointments through NHS App. No chance getting appointments on telephone when your the 12th person waiting. At times I write letters for appointments and post in their letter box.

I have had excellent care for me and my young baby at Woodlands Surgery. My community midwife (Charlotte) was fantastic throughout my pregnancy and Dr Adams has gone above and beyond to help us since my baby was born. I am very grateful to have such an excellent service near me. Thank you to all the staff at Woodlands.

The surgery waiting area itself is of an age that is difficult to maintain as ‘clean’ However the doctor/patient examination areas are very clean. In general the receptionists are extremely helpful but with the odd show of impatience when a specific time/date appointment is required of necessity.
